Bing Vs Google – Bing’s Performance Lifts

Bing – if you have the budget, get on it. Some could argue it’s not worth it when in Australia Google has 94% market share and Bing only has 4%. In the USA Bing has estimated 9%.
Windows auto defaults to Bing and it’s estimated there are more than 1.5 Billion devices powered by Windows. Outlook, Teams, Skype and more all use Bing.

In May 2023 Samsung also was doing an internal review considering changing from Google to Bing but seemed to back down. It’s well-known that Google pays big money to these companies for providing Google search as a default. Enough of all the big boy boardroom BS – all we care about is performance of our clients campaigns and Bing is doing really well at driving high quality leads,  at a lower cost per leads.

Bing has made it made is super easy to import all your Google Ads Campaigns direct into Bing. The interface feels like a weird bizarro world copy of Google, and takes a brain rejig to get your head around it. In most cases we opt out of auto updates from Google Ads. We manage the platforms separately – as they are two completely different algorithms. Some campaigns perform better and some worse on each platform.

Top 4 Reasons to get on Bing

1. Ease of setup
2. Higher quality leads
3. Lower cost per conversions
4. Consistent results
